I may have some time to play tonight. I took a quick trip into Green Glades earlier today and one red-con (to a level 46 character) mob dropped 10 atlantean glass.

So I was wondering, who wants to go stomp around ToA tonight and collect some glass? I can bring either a 50 Healer, 50 Warrior, 50 Hunter, 49 SM or a 46 BD or 46 Skald (In other words, depending on who else brings what, I can round out the group    )

Well you are going to have to farm glass that way from now on.  Typhon actually requires a real group now - with tanks and healers.

Well after doing some reading it does seem rather improbable that an afk group of heroes could defeat one of the Titans that all of the gods barely defeated.

Considering all this afk action used to take place in the Trials of Atlantis expansion area I'm certain we are more in reference to Typhon.  It also looks like there is some conflict of Greek Olympian History.  Stories that I read had all of the Olympians barely defeating Typhon wiki says only Zeus fought him.

I farmed some last night. Orange con mobs, raked in about 3k in ~4hours.

And the good news, Hunter is now ML10!

Only 1 more to go, and alll I will need is 4500ish glass to go.

Its a trade secret.

at a djinn, volcanus, then thusias nesos(or something similar) go up the hill, siam he warriors/warlocks/priests. IF you need ml xp they give that too, 1-2% per kill.

Warning: this is a master level area, there are big bad dudes in huts that come with 3 of the ones listed above they are all linked. IF you aoe or pull one, RUN as fast as you can! you will still die.


Warlocks cast lightning like thanes, Priests have a nasty aoe dot(that will 2 shot lowbies), warriors are theurgists.
Those give 20-30 glass per kill.  



There are siam he plebians which are orange to purple con. 10 glass per kill. Siam he Devotees are orange con and 10glass per kill.

I bet we could form a group that would gank Typhon every hour, and farm monsters in-between spawns.

Nothing is better than Fool's Bow.  Nothing.  

Also ... it's clear that whoever wrote that doesn't like fun.  He only cares about winning.  Shooting lightning balls is FUN.  Turning my group into a herd of black panthers is FUN and that, to me, makes it "required".

Baldrek I agree with you, it must be fun, but yeah todays 8mans think they wont have fun if they arent winning and its sad that you have to be templated and a certain realm rank/ml/champ level to even run near them assholes.

Yesterday morning I went out to Green Glades and farmed some centaur messengers for about an 30-40m.  Ended up with 550 glass.  They are purple mobs so you'd probably need a buff bot, with heals if you planned on doing it solo.  I used skald/shaman.  Those mobs are also worth ML xp.  

Good rate of glass, and ML xp made it a nice place to farm.  They were just S of the town when you port to Aerus.

I went to Stgia with my hunter yesterday and ended up with about 1500 glass after a couple hours or so. Couple things I found out:

1. Arifact encounters drop galss. I did band of stars about 4 times solo and each time he dropped 100 glass
2. Dust Elementals also have a chance of dropping 100 glass. I had 3 of them do that.

In Stygia there are huge crowds of mobs in certain places...like 20-25 just standing around. If you don't have a buff bot, you may want to check it out.
